Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder and her family moved to California's Mendocino County in the year 2000, when Ryder was only seven years old. There was no electricity. Ryder was a consummate read and often spent her time studying books since there was no TV. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. At the age of fifteen, she landed her first part on screen, in Lucas. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress could bring about change. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. But that didn't stop her making plans for her future. Her biggest break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in a variety of films. In 1993 she received two nominations to win Academy Awards. One of them for her role In The Age of Innocence.
