Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu films as well as a couple of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was a children's actress. Then, following a course in fashion design, she returned to acting. Her first big part on screen in Geethaanjali (2013), which was a Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success at the box office. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. It was not successful at the box-office. In order to accommodate bigger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she then began working on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September in 2020 with the name of Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
